Like many in Hawai‘i who were raised on tokusatsu, the main characters of nemu*nemu are avid fans of the fictional television series Henshin Rider. They collect figurines and books, and even attend an anime convention.

nemu*nemu is a collaborative opportunity for each artist to input her or his personality and childhood memories into a single story.
